Main Bearing Replacement

When to replace the main bearing on a VR (vacuum rotary) machine can be tricky to judge. The bearing/bearings are hidden from view, and located deep within the machines.

VR8600-18 machines have two bearings, one above the other, and very rarely need changing, and even after 15 years bearings removed have show little sign of wear.

VR8600-14 machines only have one bearing and can be susceptible to water ingress through machine cleaning. We would recommend, on these machines the bearing is changed between 3 and 5 years. Please give us a call for further advise.
